January 30th
Sometimes the best moments are in the mornings. I’m not an early-riser so waking up for work is brutal, but waking up next to someone I love makes it much more bearable.

Driving through the back roads of New Jersey in the late afternoon as the sun slunk lower in the sky and dreaming of the day I escape the city for something simpler - a house, a driveway, a tree in the backyard. I appreciate the excitement and uniqueness of life in Brooklyn, and I know I’ll miss it when I leave - but I am not a city girl at heart.
I know things are good when we can hang out at one of our parents’ houses sitting on the couch laughing about nothing. “The best things are free” is a cheesy and clichéd phrase; but it’s true.
